Zoomarine is an Italian amusement park located in Torvaianica, in the municipality of Pomezia, in the province of Rome, which opened in September 2005.
Zoomarine is primarily a zoological park, but also includes water park and theme park activities, with a total area of 40,000 m². It boasts 19 attractions.
Cinecittà World is a cinema and television themed amusement park, located in the municipality of Rome, near Castel Romano. With the creation of the sets by Dante Ferretti it is made up of 40 attractions, 6 shows staged in theatres and outdoors and 7 thematic areas developed over a total surface area of 300,000 m².
The name Castelli Romani refers to the entire geographical area consisting of a collection of towns and cities surrounded by the Roman countryside. As reconstructed by the historian Giuseppe Tomassetti (1848-1911), the name dates back to the 14th century when many inhabitants of Rome, to escape the economic and political difficulties resulting from the Avignon Papacy, took refuge in the castles of Roman feudal families.
